Summer, yeahhhhh

This is a picture of the valley where I live. They opened up the road to cougarpeak so we took a drive. We could only go 6 1/2 miles, the snow was still too deep. We had a lunch and looked at the view. I put a circle around the house area but the property includes all the darker green timber to the right and then 5 acres in front of the house.

I bought this property about 2 years before I retired and couldn't wait to get here.

I went to a yard sale today and got some display racks for my soaps, they needed painting so paint is drying

I have pages ready to be sewn on my first book, I even found some leather that may work for the cover.

Howard and Glenda will be here the last of the month, he will stay and she has to return to Alabama to retire from her job. I am looking forward to seeing them both.
