Last year I started feeling as if I were unable to use my legs, they just didn't want to move for me. I also became very tired, just wanted to lay around all the time (like an old person does) I was unable to bend my legs without lots of pain, lots. I thought I was just run down, I had been doing a lot of heavy work, clearing the land, cutting wood, things like that. I took the regular vitamins, especially Iron because I tend to be anemic. Nothing improved.
Now I don't go to Dr's unless I am very ill, after 21 years in a hospital emergency room I know not to go there. However, I gave in and made an appointment with a local Dr. She did test, lots of them. When she called me back in she said I had Osteo arthritis and osteoporosis. My bones were beginning to thin around my shoulders. She also said I had too much calcium in my blood and no vitamin D.
She wanted to put me on medications right away. Well no, not without me knowing exactly what I was taking.
The arthritis medications would have side effects like thinning my blood, easy bleeding, on and on. the osteoporosis medicine would coat my bones and prevent any more bone loss, literally coat them with a black stuff, I have seen this on x rays. Well it would also prevent calcium from entering the bones, oh and teeth are bones you know. Also if I have a cancer in my bones there would be no way to get to it or to get it out.
I refused the meds. except the vitamin D. I did a ton of research, and have gone to herbs. I don't take any medicines only herbs and I can keep arthritis away. If I stop them it comes back. I think this may be a life time thing.
