It's hunting season so I try to keep the deer that wander on our property from straying so they won't be shot. I toss a little corn in the yard and they love it. The smaller ones are this years babies and were born here, one set of twins and a single birth.
They stand there with their big black eyes and I can't resist feeding them. It is cold but not a lot of snow yet so they will get hungry later, maybe some elk will come to visit.
