I believe hard times are coming for all of us, and if we prepare we will survive. We all need to be more self sufficient, and less dependent on government. The Prepper idea is good but most of us don't have the time, resource or skills to do it the proper way. I prepare the best way I can, even a little is better than nothing. Floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, plaques and many other things happen or will happen. Prepare as if you will never see another store or hospital again.

Cheese







I completely believe in having a food storage. Not just because I live far from a store and get snowed in, but because I believe there are things that will happen in our lives that will mean we have to live off what we have. Anyway I have never been able to store cheese until now. I found this web site with instructions on how to can or bottle cheese. I tried it and it worked. This is supposed to last for years.
I had a five pound block of cheddar cheese from Costco and got three quarts from that.
This is the web site for the recipe and lots & lots of other stuff, great site. I thought this would separate and there would be oil on top but it didn't.
