I believe hard times are coming for all of us, and if we prepare we will survive. We all need to be more self sufficient, and less dependent on government. The Prepper idea is good but most of us don't have the time, resource or skills to do it the proper way. I prepare the best way I can, even a little is better than nothing. Floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, plaques and many other things happen or will happen. Prepare as if you will never see another store or hospital again.

After the storm





The first picture was taken today after the snow stopped and the sun came out. We got 13 inches of new on top of what we had, lost power for a day and water for two days. the second picture is Cuz on the tractor making a path to get his truck out and it was taken during the storm. We have wood heat so we get by, our friends down the road have a huge(too big) house and heats with electric. When the power went off he switched on the generator and had too many things going so the generator caught on fire.

It sure is pretty today with the sun shining.
