We have had frost already so I pulled all my onions and now must deal with them. They are Walla Walla sweets and are not keepers. the first picture is my dehydrator full of onions drying on the back porch. When they are dry I will put them through the blender and have wonderful onion powder. The next batch I will just keep for cooking, and keep fresh ones as long as I can.
the next picture is my new recliner. I found this at a garage sale and it is like new, perfect for those long winter days by the fire with a good book.
The next picture is a concrete bird bath that will go on the rock patio with my new fire pit. I also have a stock tank that is about 2 feet deep and 12 fee across, very large, I hope to dig a hole, plant it and have rock around it and near the patio, of course it will need to be drained for winter. All of this will have to wait until next year, winter is near.
then there is my new wheels, a mini van. I sold my jeep and got this because I need it to go shopping for the little antique store, and my jeep didn't work for that.
I put in a picture of the wood shed as of today. we have the roof on and it is ready for siding, going slow but it will work out. Lots of folks are green, because it is so nice.
Winter is near and the yellow jackets are so thick, and the squirrels are so busy, many things make me think this will be a cold winter.
My daughter will be here tomorrow for a visit, sooooo nice!!
