About Me

I believe hard times are coming for all of us, and if we prepare we will survive. We all need to be more self sufficient, and less dependent on government. The Prepper idea is good but most of us don't have the time, resource or skills to do it the proper way. I prepare the best way I can, even a little is better than nothing. Floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, plaques and many other things happen or will happen. Prepare as if you will never see another store or hospital again.

Nice Quiet Day

It is snowing, has been all day, not the chicken feathers we usually get but just snow.

Yesterday I got soaps, lotions and lip balm put into the gallery at Wild Horse Plains, I have a lot of Easter things I want to put in also, so still more to do.

We had a lunar eclipse, the best place to view it was in the open field where I have my garden. We had to wait for the moon to come over the cabinet mountains so it had already started a shadow on it's face. Bruce sat his expensive camera up on a tripod and I leaned on a garden post and there we stood in two feet of snow in the pitch black night, watching the moon. Rocky was with us so nothing would dare sneak up on us. I snapped a few pictures then my camera quit, dead battery. I tromped through the deep snow in the dark, back to the house, grabbed some batteries and headed back to the open area. Must have gotten some older batteries because they were dead also. I have rechargeable batteries everywhere and two $2,000.00 cameras, but I didn't get pictures of that moon.

Of course Bruce got some wonderful ones, his camera is much better, also he has two good eyes and knows how to take a picture, that's my excuse for failing on this.

I have been lazy today, just working on an animated screen saver.

Had a nice email from Tracy about her Grandfathers memorial service.

This is a video I took of my screen saver, it really is beautiful but this picture dosen't show it, the Tiger jumps over the water, but my time ran out.
