I believe hard times are coming for all of us, and if we prepare we will survive. We all need to be more self sufficient, and less dependent on government. The Prepper idea is good but most of us don't have the time, resource or skills to do it the proper way. I prepare the best way I can, even a little is better than nothing. Floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, plaques and many other things happen or will happen. Prepare as if you will never see another store or hospital again.

I have my Easter bath tub soap holder baskets (whee that's long) ready to go and they look good.


I am reading "A new earth" book, I was having a problem getting into it but once I did it was hard to put down. The thoughts and ideas aren't really new to me, just another way to look at them. I love to see others views and ideas in such things.

This is a quote from Janet Boyer's review on the book that kept hitting my thoughts a lot before I decided to really read the book.

I have to get this read before spring because there won't be time for it then.
